  1. I've been wondering the same thing, I'm holding out til the end of January, I suggest you do the same. Nothing we can do anyway.
  2. Is this for the biosciences in general or just the neuroscience prog?
  3. It depends if the school/program requires invites, someone posted saying they got acceptances without interview. In general though, no interview usually means no admission.
  4. No neuroscience invite from stanford, as an international. I saw 3 people were contacted via phone on the results page.
  5. Yeah, I understand. I figured they'd get to the skype interviewees later on though, since they dont have to book them for the in-person interview on set dates... make sense?
  6. I wouldnt worry, I'm an international student and I havent heard anything back. I corresponded with professors before and after application, most replied and were eager but no interview invites as we wouldnt be able to attend the dates of interview anyway.. I'm waiting until late January to freak out lol.
  7. I've applied, still havent heard anything. I guess they will be a little later this month, since their deadline was on the 15th of dec.
  8. Looks like MIT is still sending out invites? Saw two on the submit page? I hope this means there is still hope............
  9. I will check it out, thanks so much for your help, you're very awesome
  10. I applied to about 10 schools and havent heard ANYTHING. I spend my nights freaking out and my days refreashing my email.. Is it normal not to get interview invites at this point? I am too far to travel and so there would be no point? Anyone on this miserable boat with me?
  11. your scores are stellar, you should be fine.
  12. Hey, I have applied to a few schools with my BSc, granted it was for biology but most of the schools I looked at and spoke to (10 schools) understood the british grading system, you should email them! Alternatively, you can translate to american gpa using WES (world education service). Hope that helps!
  13. Sounds like you have an amazing chance! I will be applying to PhDs in the boston area too, except I completely tanked my GREs!!!!!
  14. You cant do it yourself, its unofficial and will not be accepted by the school. Check the application requirements, some school like NYU/Columbia/Georgetown will specifically tell you that you need to submit a certified equivalence report. Use companies such as Word Educational Services and they will convert it course-by-course. Good luck.
