For those of you who heard from Stanford so far, what dates did you hear? Just trying to see if everyone was invited on the same day and I should rule them out or not :/

I'm glad someone is in the same boat! Ok, cool. Just wanted to check. From recent experience with UCSD, I know that people are not always notified of rejection promptly if not invited to the Open House haha. Just wanted to be sure no one else had heard.

Speaking of hope lol, has anyone heard from Stanford yet?? I know their open house is next month.

Thanks for the information! It seems to me that schools are really starting to prefer if we take either a year off and work on research or attend an MA program. Or it's beginning to matter for differentiating between everyone at least (happened to me on the shortlist).

Congratulations to everyone who was admitted to Berkeley!! Obviously don't have to tell you how awesome that is haha. Question: did you apply with an MA or a BA? I'm trying to get a feel for if admissions are leaning more towards students with MAs than BAs this year. It seems like it was that way at UCSB for sure.

Haha yeah, no need to worry. I'm 100% certain they have yet to meet and make a shortlist. I'm currently attending and was just speaking with admissions committee members. Yeah, gonna have to write off UCSD too I think. Though I have to say it'd be really nice for them to just let the rejection letters out if they've officially sent out their shortlist invites. As for Berkeley, THANKS. I wasn't sure what those interviews were all about so I was totally freaking out haha. I also presented specific research goals and POIs. Good to know I can still be positive about a few. ;P

FYI for Michigan applicants- the admissions committee is meeting by the end of this week to make decisions on who to invite for screening week. So no need to refresh like crazy till Friday at the very least! Also, question- what do we think about chances of admissions without an interview to schools including UCSD, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and Stanford? I saw one person mention the UCSD open house in the admissions log, but no one else. Has anyone heard back from any of these schools in terms of open house/interviews?
