  1. Does anyone know when UChicago and Yale will be rolling out their acceptances? Based on the last few years, it won't be until the end of February, but I was curious to know if anyone had insider info.
  2. Well, obviously Harvard. Their Semitic museum normally funds a number of different projects. Right now, they have been re-digging in Ashkelon with the Leon Levy expedition. It's co-run by Dan Masters (from Wheaton) and Lawrence Stager. UT-Austin is a new up and coming program. Both L. Michael White and Steve Friesen in their AMR concentration are pretty heavily involved in digs every summer, and I'd keep an eye for this school in years to come for sure. Other than that, I could almost gurantee that any top notch program (Duke, Emory, UChicago, etc.) will have connections and ties to excavators.
  3. This was from the director of the Bible program, but he wasn't my POI.
  4. Sorry, I thought it said on my profile, but I'm applying to the Divinity School for the NT and ECL concentration in the Bible degree.
  5. Anyone know when Duke's interview weekend will be? I only ask so I can go ahead and schedule something important for that weekend so I can justify my lack of an invitation with an "Oh, well; I wouldn't have been able to attend anyway." ... : P
  6. I don't think there's a definite answer on this one. If you want to go down the deep, dark rabbit-hole of crushed hopes and dreams, you can look around in the results search for what programs have done in previous years. Even then, however, the timing of notifications seems to vary from year to year.
  7. The results search didn't give much/any info. I'm hoping s/he received only a clarifying email or something rather than an official invitation to interview. (I.e., I'm trying to stay positive!)
  8. I, too, will jump on the train of finally commenting on this thread. I just finished all my applications and now I'm trying my best not to re-read over my statements of purpose or writing samples. Unfortunately, the only way I can convince myself not to do this is to check GradCafe way too much. Good luck to all as we wait to hear back....
