I went to a community college where I had a 3.5 GPA for two years and then transferred to Skidmore college where I did not apply myself and had a 2.6 GPA.
I worked in a psychiatric hospital for 5 months as a mental health technician and one of my letters of recommendation is from a psychiatric nurse who was my supervisor.
I live in NYC and want to become a social worker. I want to tart school ASAP via the spring start accelerated programs.
Do you think there is any way I can get into any of them? Can I average my two GPAs into one that is over 3.0? I have very good letters of recommendation from professors I did research with and from my advisors and all.
May somebody please give me some input as these deadlines are coming in fast!
