Hey, everyone.
I plan to apply for the graduate program in statistics in Fall 2013. However, I've encountered several questions.
My undergraduate study is Accounting, and I haven't taken many mathematical courses. I just took calculus, linear algebra, introduction to statistical methods. I nearly finished a semester work of probability, and complex analysis; however, they don't show on my transcript.
My undergraduate GPA is around 3.7. And my GRE is 159+169. No TOEFL required.
My question is: is there any possibility that I could get admitted into top 50 school without an adequate mathematical background?
Do you have any suggestions about which kind of schools I should apply for?
Thank you all!
