Got a call from Weill Cornell IMP Chair and informed that I be accepted.

Just got a call from a professor that I had interview with, and informed that I am accepted by Duke MGM program. Good luck to all you guys!

I applied to UBC, but it says do rotation first and no need to secure a PI first. It is Pharmaceutical science program.

They rejected me like a month ago.

Did you apply to MIT's microbiology program too? This is my dream program.

Don't think like that way, and I don't think most school will accept majority of the interviewees.

The reason why I applied to so many schools is that PHD programs in Biology field are super selective, and this may ensure my chances to get accepted. It did cost a lot of money, but it's worth it.

I will go everywhere that gives me interview invitation, if there is no conflict.

biotechie:why don't you apply to more schools, i think there are some schools have Jan-15 deadline.

It is a good idea to relax before the up coming intensive traveling and interviews. But I don't think I can relax at all at this time. I'm just so anxious now.
