Thanks man, hope everybody will get more interview invitation in the near future. Happy holiday.

Weill Cornell School of Medical science, Immunology And Microbial Pathogenesis interview invitation received. Best Christmas present. Feb-13-15

It really depends on the programs and schools that you apply. I know Columbia CUMC phd programs generally reject more than 50% of the interviewees after interviews. And some other schools generally accepts more than 80% of interviewees.

I have a question for those who received interview offers from Sloan-Kettering. Do you guys get reply from Ms. Maria Torres after you confirm your attendance? Thanks
-
I think it's because teaching is not their primary mission, and those institute may not have a good system like universities for students to learn stuffs. On the other hand, those institutes have great PIs.
-
Actually, I just talked with my PI, and he said doing a PhD in an institute (except Cold spring harbor) may not be as good as in a real university. I really don't know how this program is compared to other programs that I applied.
-
It's Jan.15th-17th, What a weird date.
-
OH, I chose biomedical eng. Do you think they would actually pass it to other optional programs you chose?
-
I applied directly to the molecular biology program, not through the biology@ Princeton. If you look at last year's record, people got interview offers in late Jan too. GL
-
Guys I am also waiting for the Princeton MB.
-
Are you sure it's this friday? Do they send out the offers in one wave?

Question about delay delivery of GRE/TOEFL scores in Weill Cornell
MicroB2012 replied to kingmiaomiao's topic in Biology
Just resend all the scores. -
dorpedo: Congrats man. What program do you applied to? Is it biology@princeton or the MCB?
-
Congrats man! Could post your stats, if you don't mind? Thanks
-
I researched the gradcafe, most of the interview offers were sent out in late Dec. and Jan. last year.
-
Does Northwestern have a rolling base review process? If they do, maybe they would start reviewing applicant's files that has been completed before the deadline.
-
UChicago Molecular bioscience program sent out the interview offers today. GL
-
Are you serious? If this is true, then the UW application process is totally bullshit.
-
Bio-related programs are very competitive, mainly because the numbers of applicants.
-
You guys are scaring me, how do I compete with you people

Yes, the web page says it may take up to one month to reflect the changes. So I will Email them next week, and deiced whether to resend the GRE scores. It costs a lot of money too.
-
Submitted two more schools: UBC and UCSD. Im so worried about the schools not receiving my GRE scores which I sent to them a month ago. Should I resend all the scores?

Cali schools are really tough to get into for people coming from out side of Cali state. I mainly apply to microbiology programs: Harvard MIT Stanford Yale Princeton Columbia Duke WashU Brown UCSF Northwestern Chicago UPenn Cornell Rockfeller NYU BCM UT UNC Tufts
