Yeah I guess. I just didn't expect that after a rejection saying that my application was not recommended, I got another letter. I thought one would have to apply for pre-masters to be considered.
So U Manitoba (Pol Studies) rejected me about 2 weeks ago but last night I received an email telling me to check my status on the grad app website. I found out I got accepted to grad school but under the pre-masters program. I didn't know that can happen!
I am looking for either a bachelor or a one-bedroom apartment in Hamilton, Ontario and I have absolutely no clue as to where to start.
Any tips on how to hunt for apartments in Canada?
Give Val a call. Not sure why it's taking so long. I got mine last week and it was a rejection. No surprise there though 'cause I know they are looking for more Pol Studies courses from me.
Maybe you're still in the pool of candidates they are considering.
Got my acceptance to McMaster Globalization with 12K funding!
I just checked and the status of my application hasn't changed so I guess there's no point in constantly checking, at least for some universities.
My status for McMaster MA Globalization still has not changed. It's still "application completed". Anyone else applying to McMaster that has the same situation?
My University of Manitoba app says "Application Submitted" and "Complete Department Review" for weeks now.
I am meeting a potential advisor tomorrow. He also happens to be the associate dean for the grad program.
I sent him an email a while ago and he requested that I go and talk to him personally. Do you have any advice for me? I am thinking of bringing a copy of my resume and a sample of my work. Maybe a copy of my transcript too.
Some advice will greatly help as I do not know what to expect.
