As far as I understand Ike's post, he meant the applicants of IR/PS program (not MIA), because it seems no one applying to IR/PS claimed an acceptance while many confirmed about their rejections.

I applied IR/PS (masters) too. I only heard about rejections, no one claimed an acceptance :-S This program is very competitive: it takes only 20 new students every year.

Hey guys, I wanna ask something about IHEID application. The motivation letter limit is 800 words but I already wrote 1000-word essay and I couldn't find anything to cut off. What should I do? I wonder whether the admission office would read my letter if it ran over the word limit
