  3. Thank you for your comment, actually we were talking about GRE, but since I am taking my MSc from a canadian school and my BSc was from abroad, so I waived TOEFL. However my IELTS score was quite good and it was 7.0. Do you think a good SOP can do anything influential for me? I am really disppointed by AWA.
  4. It might be the same for Stanford but could you please comment of the percentile of the internationals accepted to Duke's? My understanding is around 60% on average, is that correct? do they overlook AWA for MSc applicants?
  5. Actually I don't have enough time to retake it as the deadline is approaching. And you are right the average is the same for our program as well. But do they take internationals the same as native-speakers? Is there any way to compensate it?
  6. I have a MSc in electrical engineering and am applying to a MSc in management science and engineering at Stanford. I wrote for GRE and my scores are Q 164, V 149 and AWA 3.0. 10. I don't see any problem with your verbal score as we both are from an engineering background afterall. However, the role of your AW is also important. Have you get your AW score yet? which world-list you had used for memorizing vocabs? and are you an internationl student? it's really tough for us to get the verbal done
  11. I think your chance is really high for top tier schools as long as your letters are strongly supportive and your AW is at least 4.0. I wish my verbal was the same as I have one in couple of weeks. Any advises for the test preparation in verbal? I really appreciate it.

  16. Could anybody please fill me in on how important is the essay of diversity? and what do they really expect us to write there?
  17. Thanks for your reply I meant on the test day you were given these choices? is that correct? many thanks, by the way how long did it take to get them received to schools? is that done electronically?
  18. Hey Folks, just wondering if " the most score" option works at test center at the test day to submit most recent score only. Or do I have to wait until getting AW score then to order the " the most recent" one? Any past experience is appreciated by the way how long does it take to get the scores received by schools? does it send electronically?
  19. Hello all, I just worried about if we can use the "most recent" option just after the exam ( the ones for free) to have the most recent one reported to the schools. I dont know why somewhere I noticed we have to wait until getting the all scores then we can. Can somebody please concur if we can report the most recent without sending earlier ones in the test day for free. Many thanks
  20. Thanks for your reply, I am indeed practicing to take another GRE with its revised format. However, in the mock tests I am running out of time in verbal section--let's say 4 to 3 last questions--and the total estimated score is not good enough. It's really disapppointing for me. How could I improve this weakness in verbal? I greally appreciate any advices to upgrade my verbal skill.
