I have applied for a Masters to:
MIT
UC Berkeley (Accepted with full funding & stipend)
Cornell
Tufts (Accepted with full funding)
Columbia
MIT is my top choice. Berkeley's offer gave me hope that I might have a chance for MIT
Thanks bro, good luck to you too! I read somewhere that 95% of the students in research based degrees in the civil engineering department at MIT are in some way funded, either by RA/TA or fellowships. Do you know if that's accurate?
Unfortunately if I dont receive any funding i wont be able to go to MIT.
Anybody else waiting for a reply from MIT for a Masters or PhD in Civil Engineering?
I am personally have applied for a Masters in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation.
I have already seen 1 person being accepted in the Results Section. Do you think more replies are around the corner?
Cheers
Nikos
It is not optional for SM Civil Engineering which I am applying to.
Nevertheless I retook the exam today and got
Quant. 170 / 170
Verbal 156/170
which im pretty happy about
Hi guys,
One of those posts again
So I am now in my 3rd and final year of a Bachelor in Engineering at University College London doing Civil Engineering. I am applying to MIT for a Masters in Science Civil Engineering. I have held a first class honours (70% + ) for my first two years and most probably will achieve the same for my 3rd year which I believe corresponds to a GPA of 4.0
My GRE scores are:
Verbal: 159/170
Quantitative: 163/170
Analytical Writing: 4.5/6
What do you think?
Should I retake for MIT?
Thanks a million,
Nikos
