  1. Someone posted a link to ETS's official GRE score analysis for the test you've given. I can't seem to find the link, have searched through the forums. Can anyone please provide the link. Thanks
  2. Hello there How important is it to mention gaps in ones educational career. Specifically, I gradudated from high school in 2004, got into an Engineering school (Electrical Eng) in 2004 and spent two semesters there (1 year) and then applied for transfer to a better engineering school in 2005. My transfer wasn't approved so I enrolled as a Freshman. My query is that should I mention this in the application or it's not relevant? Thanks
  3. How do you rate U Mich, U florida, UMD, USC and U Houston? Mid, lower or top? Secondly, How do these university consider experience? I have 4 years of relevant field experience, do you think that would factor in my favor or not?
  4. I gave IELTS and have 8.5 out of 9.0 in it so that is not a concern. Thing is I can only retake GRE after the 17th of Jan which is AFTER the deadlines of the colleges I am interested in. I was looking at a few New to Old Gre conversion websites, and 158 quant converted to 740 Old quant. Are these conversions correct or just random?
  5. So I gave the GRE on the 17th of Dec and it was bad. Got 157 on Verbal and only 158 on Quant. I was targetting the 15th Jan deadline for U of Florida/Michigan/Houston/Southern Cali/Maryland for the Electrical Engineering MS. I do intend to retake the GRE but that can't be before 17th Jan and deadlines will be missed. So I've two questions. 1. Is my score enough to get me in, the quantitative i mean? (3.29 GPA international applicant, and 4 years of relevant industry experience) 2. Do these colleges give the relaxation of sending the GRE scores a bit later if all the other requirements have been met? Thanks
