Just got the recommendation for funding email from the program director for the biological anthropology panel - 4th time was the charm

I also just got my hard copy official approval letter from WG! I just want to offer some advice for people who have to reapply. This was my third submission, you have to be persistent. Address the comments of the reviewers as best you can, do not blow them off. In my comments, all of the reviewers stated that I had addressed the previous concerns really well. Also, unlike NSF, based on their comments, it seems that the same reviewers got my proposal again this time around - so really do not reformulate your project because you think that the reviewers just didn't get it, but address their concerns and comments. Clarify as best you can and if you do, in the words of Leslie Aiello in the president's response I got, "it [will] all be worth it in the end!"

From others that have gotten it, it's basically a certainty that you get funding - they just need more info on whether you've gotten funding from other sources so they don't duplicate expenses that are covered from other sources

Still waiting with a pending ...

Has anyone heard yet who applied for the DDIG in August 2012? In Bio anth, they changed to 8 month cycles, so I'm not sure if we'll still find out soon or if it will be later since the next deadline isn't until April 2013.
