Hi Guys, Didn't know where else to post this- I'm a U.S. American fourth year undergraduate student focusing on early modern South Asian History. In the long run I'd like to do a PhD in History, but I'm in the process of applying to M.A.s (mostly in regional studies) now, because I'd like to improve my language skills and make sure the PhD route is really the way I want to go. Anyways, does anyone have thoughts on Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi for an M.A. in History? A number of the professors I'd like to be work with in US studied there. Also, I've lived in India for a number of years before, so I'm pretty comfortable there. Thoughts? Good idea or not? Thanks!
