Hi, I've read all the threads I can about switching from a non-science undergrad to a MS in Engineering, but can't find much that compares to my situation. Would it be feasible for me to get into an Environmental Engineering master's program? I've taken Calc 3 and Chem I/Phys I, and five Earth Science courses. From there I'm thinking I'd need about a year of courses: DiffEq, Statics, Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and some Env Engineering-specific systems/modeling/etc. Does that sound right? My GRE Q/V is 770/710. My "story" includes some fairly non-scientific riverbank revegetation projects in Africa with the Peace Corps. Would just a couple semesters of undergrad courses suffice to make the leap? I'd rather not get a full BS in Engineering, and I'd be happy to go to any school that would have me funded. I'm guessing I wouldn't be competitive for the big boys, but maybe the "second-tier" ones? I'm unfamiliar with funding availability/likelihood for someone in my situation. I appreciate any light that can be shed.
