I am also eager to hear back from Berkeley - just called their admissions office and was told that decisions have been made and they are hoping to have results out by this Friday... TOMORROW! They do interviews before accepting applicants. Good luck to you, meowmeow.
Thank you, clem09. The post you referred to was not legit. I was feeling antsy and called the admissions office this afternoon - found out they have not made any decisions yet and was told I would know by the end of the month.
I am applying to MFA Studio Art Programs (painting and drawing concentration) that have an interdisciplinary approach allowing students to take courses in other departments or has an emphasis on social practice/community.
So far I have applied to UC Berkeley and will be applying to Indiana Un., Indianapolis; Portland State Un.; and CA College of the Arts. Maryland Institute College of the Arts is another consideration.
Are there any other programs that are similar to this that you would recommend? Or are you currently in one of these programs and have any feedback?
Thank you!
