  1. Anyone heard from CMU, Toronto, UTAustin and MIT ESD?
  2. Has MIT ESD release their offers yet?
  3. Did anyone of you considered universities in the UK such as Cambridge, Oxford, Manchester, etc? Some of these have pretty good management science/industrial engineering related programs as well.
  4. So UT Austin has already sent out their admits?
  5. Received rejection from Columbia IEOR for the PhD program but email states that they find me suitable for the Masters program and ask if I am keen before they surface my application to the committee for deliberation. Does it mean that I have a high chance of getting admitted to the Masters (MSOR) program? And if so, should I do the Masters program first and apply again during my course of studies for the PhD program? Would that put me in a better state for the PhD. My end state is to graduate with a PhD. For discussion.
  6. Any idea when will michigan release their admission results?
  7. What do you think of the operations research dept at UT Austin, Columbia, UIUC and CMU? Which domains or OR is each good at? Thanks
  8. Me too! What's so difficult about getting into MIT ORC...Disappointed. Have got 5 publications, good GPA but I guess my GRE results pulled me down...
  9. Mit and stanford are one of the hard to get schools. Any one has any idea of good schools in ie/or? And yet the admissions are not as competitive?
  10. U never know. Persevere! And never loss faith until you see it in black and white.
  11. Has anyone heard anything from MIT (ORC) dept?
  12. @behnam1: You have received the results from Michigan (IOE)? Are they out already?
  13. Trying to hang on till I see the official results on web.
  14. Seems like the remaining chance is real slim. I have applied to other grad schools as well. have you heard from any other than MIT?
