From Cleveland myself, but in school in Dayton right now! Ohio has a lot of representation up in hurrrrrrrr!

Everytime my phone buzzes, or I see I got another email, my heart skips a beat. If this keeps up, I'm going to end up dead before tomorrow.

I think some people have a country they want to go to for various reasons and then find a project or do ETA in that country. Others have a specific project in mind and then find a compatible country in which to work on the project. For me, I fell in love with the Middle East when I was there this summer and wanted to go back to learn more about the people and the culture there. I found a really awesome project too, so that made the decision to apply obvious. Though, who knows what they will think of my application... As for the Arab/Gulf countries,....I looked on the spreadsheet and they usually find out by the end of April, so it could be next week, insha'Alla

And the 2014-2015 Fulbright US Student Program Application opens in 6 days! And many of us still haven't heard yet! Crazy!!!!

Nope...Looks like those countries tend to notify later (end of April).

Most of the Middle East is still anxiously waiting too!

So do the countries talk to our proposed advisors in determining selection? Would our proposed advisors know anything? I'm thinking about sending mine an email if thats the case. Its not just that I'm super curious and want to know, but I need to make some decisions regarding this next coming year and this wait is really making things difficult!

Are there any websites or places where we can get info on the # of applicants, recommended applicants, and grantees from the past for years per country/region? Thanks

I applied for a full research grant and was wondering: who gets interviews? Also, will our schools find out the results first? Or do they find out the same time that we find out?
