All of the schools I applied to allowed me to notify my referees before I finished the application. I was not finished with most of the apps until hours before the deadlines. ( I spent months writing and rewriting my SOP and Personal statement)

Apparently Invites for Stanford Biophysics are being sent out.

I asked UW-Madison about attending an alternative date as their schedule weekend overlapped with one I had already scheduled. Been almost a week and the only reply I have received was that they would need to talk to the chair. Not sure what to make of the situation.

All of the California schools I applied to were in my opinion reaches anyways. I'm going to go ahead and expect a rejection from Stanford and rejoice and prepare for my interview at UCSF.

It's cool. I'd rather know than be dragged along. If all the invites are sent a rejection email would have been a good courtesy.

According to the results page all invites have been sent out for UC Berkeley Biophysics

I wonder how accurate this is. Are there really only 88 people in the world that want to study Biophysics at stanford? Just seems like the applied numbers are kind of Low.

What kind of research experience do you have? Also since your App list is texas heavy, they may have opted to invite people applying to other competitive programs first?

I submitted all of my apps on the first of December.

I got an invite on monday.
