Hey everyone! This is my first post on this site, though I admit I was a bit of a lurker in the past few days. Anyways, I am in a masters degree program in cell biology at Thomas Jefferson University who just applied to several Ph.D programs in neuroscience (Thomas Jefferson University, PSU, USC, UConn, Tufts, SUNY Stony Brook, and NYU). I just finished my applications by all of the required deadlines. Bio: Undergraduate GPA was a 3.01, however my Masters GPA is a 3.53. 320 GREs, and one publication in hand. However, I still have not heard back from any schools yet! I saw other people have had interview requests already. So does having a masters degree help me in any way despite my poor undergraduate performance?
