  1. To the waitlisters: I've officially declined my offer from NPSIA. Hope one of you gets in!
  2. Thanks a lot! Your advice was really helpful!
  3. Hi all, I've recently been admitted to a few Master's programs in International Affairs with funding to the tune of a few thousand dollars. I can't help but feel a little disappointed that I didn't get more. After all, I hear about all these students getting full funding or getting partial funding with a TAship. Am I expecting too much? Thanks!
  4. Hi everyone, I'm struggling to make a decision and was trying to think of the pros/cons of going to NPSIA. If anyone wants to chime in, why did you choose NPSIA/why would you accept the offer from NPSIA over anywhere else? Thanks!!
  5. Thanks for the info, kdav!
  6. Just got my official letter today as well! Got some funding. Does anyone know what the average scholarship is? And also, has anyone received a TAship? Or what the opportunities are like to get a RAship?
  7. Does anyone know about a potential open house/program information night for NPSIA? I'm going up on my own to check out the campus as I have to make a decision pretty soon (I have a deadline by which I have to let UofT know of my decision with regards to the MGA) but I'd really like to speak some NPSIA students, faculty.
  8. I got my acceptance at the end of February. They do rolling admissions though, so my date means very little. Remember: no news is good news!
  9. Accepted as well!!!! Gotta make a decision between this and the MGA at UofT. Anyone have any resources/advice?
  10. @ansaria5: I have a CGPA of 3.37 (not too spectacular) but a lot of very strong ECs in leadership (currently a Residence Don) and policy work (volunteered for a few think tanks and a law firm). Your statement will be really important and make sure to spend some time thinking critically about what you specifically want to pursue and how the MGA would be the ideal program for that. I went to their open house that they had about a week ago and they said that they take a very holistic approach to assessing applications so ECs, work experience, etc. will be taken into consideration as well. If you want to chat more about it, feel free to PM me Good luck!
  11. Waiting to hear on NPSIA too. The anticipation is killing me! Been accepted to UofT's MGA though. Anyone else applied there?
