I got my formal rejection from Stanford only after I sent them an email asking about the status of my application

Ramya, I am international student, and living in Istanbul which makes me think that I might receive the letter - whether an acceptance or rejection - from Harvard a bit after those in the States. I'd be delighted if you could (or anyone else who's waiting from Harvard) post here when you receive the mail so that I could predict whenabouts to look for an incoming letter from the postal service. Postal system sometimes can be tricky here. And, do you think Harvard sends all letters on the same day? thanks

I also applied to Harvard (sociocultural). Today, when I wrote to the graduate administrator, I got the following reply: "Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, due to Graduate School Admissions policies, I am not at liberty to discuss admissions decisions with applicants. However, I can tell you that all letters regarding admissions decisions will be mailed from the Graduate School by March 15th. If you fail to receive a letter soon after that date, you should contact Graduate School Admissions office by e-mail"
