I was real annoying and called again today and they verified that it would be sent by today end of the day. I was assuming that they meant of the end business day, which is in 6 minutes. What in the world!!!

I was just accepted into SDSU! A question for the other people accepted. The letter I received asked me to send a verification within 10 days of receiving the letter to reserve my spot. Does anyone know if this is binding? I haven't heard from any of the other schools I applied to yet and I don't want to be stuck at SDSU if I get accepted from a school that I would choose over it. Thanks!

Congrats!! When did you apply?? And did you apply for advanced standing? When I last called them they told me if it was for the regular program that I wouldn't hear back till April! So you heard back super early! Congrats though!!

I am so very nervous about my interview! I was told there will be a writing portion and a few of my MSW friends told me they will give us scenerios... still waiting for more specific information.
I have not heard about a writing portion and they didn't mention it in the e-mail either. I have spoken to someone who graduated last year from the Title IV E program at Berkeley and she didn't mention a writing potion either. But she did mention the scenario. So nervous!!!! When is your interview?

Great, thanks for the response. I applied to the January deadline...so I probably won't be hearing back for a while. I'm worried that my chances became significantly lower because I applied late(ish). Ugh
I called today regarding my application and Lance Fooks was super nice. He let me know whether or not my application as been reviewed or not. I wouldn't worry about your chances being lower since the fellowship deadline applied to all graduate programs! It seems like it was just a UCLA general deadline if you wanted fellowship considerations.

I am going into panic mode waiting to hear back from schools. When people applied to UCLA, did you receive confirmation e-mails stating they received your transcripts / GREs? I was looking back on past forums for the previous years and they said they received these confirmation e-mails and I did not. I am trying to refrain from panicking and calling the school, even though it is completely late.

You heard back already?! Congrats! Did you apply early? Has anyone else heard back yet? I haven't heard from them... Does anyone know if they are notifying people as they are being reviewed or all at once? If it is the latter, then thats not a good sign....

Hello! I applied to the Title IV-E program and am extremely nervous/anxious. I wish we would hear back already... Everyday I check online, but of course nothing has changed... How is everyone else dealing with it? I hold my breath whenever I get an e-mail..

Thanks, citychild! I emailed them, but they never emailed back. I'm super anxious to hear back from them.
I hope it's more late January (i.e. NOW) rather than early February!I called UW this week and they said that we would be notified via e-mail. Also they told me sometime in February and could not specify whether it would early, middle, or late February. SO NERVOUS.

Hi Everyone!
I just finished my applications this week and am completely freaking out waiting to hear back from schools.So far, I have applied to UCBerkeley, UofWashington, UCLA, and SDSU. I am considering also applying to ASU since their deadline is later and am worried that I did not apply to enough schools.
Has anyone heard anything about the MSW program at ASU? It is ranked in the top 50 of USNews (I believe), but those can always be a bit off.
What does everyone think about how many schools to apply too and etc?

Sorry for the late post! But I applied to the Title IV-E Program at UCB and I heard back from them about 2 weeks ago that I got in. It was through a phone call from Catharine Ralph. Hope that helps a little for anybody still waiting.
