Finally made my decision as well. It was very difficult choosing between Stanford and Harvard, but Harvard won out for personal reasons in the end.

Also rejected from UCSF. I don't really know why. Only reason I can think of is that I responded honestly about other schools I was applying to. Sad because I was seriously considering going to UCSF over the others. They let us know by automated message to their application program.

Does anyone know if that was all of the UCB/UCSF BioE invites sent out today?

Just got an acceptance from Harvard biophysics by phone!

Call, 6 days later a letter, and today (7 days) an email.

The deadline for responding to interview invites for Stanford biophysics is Jan 31, so I would assume rejections/another round of invites would go out before that time. Still no word on Berkeley/UCSF BioEng or Harvard Biophysics?

I just received an interview request from UW BPSD program. I was surprised at how late it was sent out (6:00 PM on a Friday PST). Feb 21-24 is the date.

Not sure what format everyone uses exactly but: School: Small liberal arts, decently strong ranking Major: Biochemistry, mathematics minor GPA: 3.94 GRE: Quant = 170; Reading = 166; Writing = 4.5 Didn't submit subject test scores Research experience: Two summers in biotech industry internship and one summer at an Ivy REU in biochemistry. Honors thesis research in bioinorganic chemistry. I'm also a four year varsity athlete. Just got rejected from MIT CSBi, though...

I received an invite to Caltech BCMB on January 14, UCSF iPQB on January 15, and Stanford Biophysics (by phone and mail) on January 16. Just thought I'd let you guys know!
