hi, does anyone know if interviews are required in order for a student to be admited @ berkeley eecs? my concentration is artificial intelligence. i've seen a few ppl from this year and last year get interviews around this time from berkeley eecs. one poster a couple years ago even went so far as to say that an associate prof told him they were now required by eecs. i'm not sure if any of this is true though -- i thought interviews were only for borderline candidates. any/all info much appreciated!!!
