Silverstars, if you send e-mail to them, they will let you know right away. That's how I got rejected.. I just got official admission from Iowa State University with funding. Thankful yet since UMD is my top choice, still praying. Good luck, everyone.

When I started this discussion in the first place, I thought that everyone here applied for PhD program. Did anyone??

Hi, guys Last week I saw someone's admission posting (from my top priority school) so I sent E-mail to that department asking how things are going with my application. The director wrote me back saying at that time when they had a meeting, my application was incomplete so no decision was made. She said that my application is complete now, so they will reconsider my application and decide whether to interview me in two weeks. The funny thing is that she misspelled my E-mail address at the first time, so I could not receive her E-mail when she actually wrote me back. This morning she forwarded the E-mail to me and there she added this one sentence at the top, 'on list.' I was like '???????' Does this mean that I am on interview list? Or are they just reviewing my application? What do you think?

I just saw someone reporting that he/she recieved an e-mail from POI of Ohio State University.... Did anyone here?

Have a friend who got admitted from OSU(HDFS) about 2 years ago. I remember that she received an e-mail from them.

Maryland, Purdue, Iowa State.. (including OSU and PSU) Maryland is my dream school, but I am afraid that my research interests did not fit with any professors there. They put focus on policy, yet I am not quite interested in that area. Other schools are not bad at all, but basically I want to live near the city.

I hope we would all end up at the same school! Ohio and Penn State are both well known schools for HDFS program. So, is Ohio going to send out letters at the end of this month? Mail or E-mail I wonder.. And has everyone applied to PhD program?
