  1. Thanks for the info! Could you provide us with the link to the page?
  2. I'm sure admission is decided on by program/department, so it would make sense that they send out decisions by program. That's only my guess. If Mmukher1 let's us know what program they applied to, we can try and narrow the decision timing down.
  3. I'm waiting as well... so nervous and excited! The website says decisions will come out between March 01-15 aaaand tomorrow is March 1!
  4. Well, I think rejections go out first because those files need the least amount of processing. So hopefully the fact that you haven't gotten a decision yet is a good thing!
  5. Agej - You could call and say you were curious as to whether your completed application file was received. They'll look it up and let you know if it's processing.
  6. My professor who wrote an LOR for me just forwarded me an email from the school I applied to. (This prof as well as myself were in personal and direct contact with the Director of Recruitment). The email was a recruiting one asking if he knew any interested and promising students to send their way. They sent it to my professor NOT my undergrad school itself. Could it be they liked his recommendation of me? Or could it be they're telling him to "try again" and that I'm a flop? Funny that my prof forwarded it to me only with the note "FYI". Like that gives anything away... P.S. - It has been 2 weeks into the review of my application. I was told to expect a decision in upwards of 2 to 4 weeks.
  7. Arhodg - Hopefully that means you'll soon receive some good news to balance out the bad (ying/yang?). Purplepolarbear - That is a really great sign!! They wouldn't pay for it if they weren't seriously considering your application. Just remember to breathe when you visit and you should be fine!
  8. Oh, I hope I get the acceptance as well. Thanks- a celebration would surely be in order!
  9. That's a relief. I feel like I'm going crazy waiting for a decision... manically checking my already submitted materials (and happening to find two minor typos - or hallucinations due to adrenaline?). Good luck to everyone here, too!
  10. What kind of weight does the Recruitment Director have in the admissions process/review? I've had some great exchanges with him and I don't know if I'm just reading too much into what he's said or if it really is a good sign or bad sign. One of my professor's had a difficult time uploading a recommendation electronically to the website so the Recruitment Director not only responded to me but sent my professor a personal email and said it could be sent straight to him. In my last email exchange with him a week ago, he ended with: "Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns, and I very much hope to welcome you to IWP as a new student in the very near future. All the best." There are two "very"s in there! Is it just courtesy? I don't know what to think! Or if to think much of it at all... Anyone have ideas about this? Good/bad?
