I'll claim the UM waitlist. I couldn't resist emailing the director of grad studies...all acceptances are out and waitlist emails are to follow shortly.
Where would you want to teach? I really wanted to apply, but as an older undergrad I can't afford to take a break from school. I highly recommend Detroit if you end up going that route.
So here's a question - how long do schools typically give students to accept/reject offers? My application deadlines ranged from mid-December to Feb. 1st so I won't hear from everyone until at least the end of March. Granted, I've yet to hear from anyone so it may not even be an issue.
I applied to Temple. Got a call from them today (thinking it would be a very early acceptance), but it was the coordinator asking me to send another copy of something. My guess is we won't hear anything til late Feb.
