  1. Definitely! Thankfully, I've gotten into another school that fits that criteria, but I'm still hoping for at least the opportunity to choose or not choose!
  2. I didn't see your post previously, wasn't trying to call you a liar, but lots of false flags come up around here!! I'm trying to get into a heavy quant. emphasis with political economy and comparative/IR. I'm pretty sure that's their cup of tea.
  3. Ah, congratulations! It is very strange. What is your specialty, though? I'm probably waiting on the most in demand area there, and I think this one may have been American politics. Correct me if I'm wrong!
  4. HA! I have a job, thank God, so it makes it a little more bearable. I've really picked up on my exercise recently, and some of that maybe this process. You applied to WashU, Wemayet? I'm dying to hear from them. They say on their website first week of February. I saw one person place an acceptance up on the board last Thursday to Political Science, but I don't know if that was true or not. I wish someone would come forward and claim it. I think it may have been a false flag.
  5. I am waiting on UVA, but I think I know where I'm going at this point. FSU gave me an offer I can't refuse.
  6. Someone apparently claimed a WashU acceptance yesterday for Political Science, but I have yet to see anyone else here mention them.
  7. Thanks Quigley - I had to kind of avoid this place until I had a "yes" or two - I'm about to go bat crazy insane about WashU.
  8. Been lurking for a while. Into Texas A&M, UIUC, and FSU. Looking very closely at FSU, because their quant. emphasis is incredible. Waiting on WashU, and it looks like my hopes at Duke might be crushed. I've applied to other schools as well. I was rejected at OSU, but I heard that they are mainly a strong program in American, so I'm not that offended. I tend to think of it as if a professor doesn't think there's someone I can work with at their school, I'd rather not be there.
