Hullo, all! Just wanted to give hope to other alternates--I just heard that I will now be a recipient! Now I just need to figure out how to repay OGS and switch to SSHRC, if possible... Best of luck to everyone

sparrowbirdie, I am an alternate and also received that email--I guess they get the alternates' applications along with the A-listers' ones, in case an A-lister doesn't accept it. Here's hoping that is the case for both of us!

Bondette: I'm at Carleton and have applied to the SSHRC MA grant. I haven't heard back anything yet!
