Well, i hope that the long wait leads to good news, since even by now, I have not received a response. Does Berkeley adhere to the april 15th deadline? I must know something by next week I hope.

I am still waiting for an answer! Are there any others who got no answer yet?

I am in a very nervuous situation. Two weeks ago, I have been awarded the Fulbright scholarship in my country, yet I have not been admitted to UCB, and UCB is the only university I applied for, I was too late for others!! I told the admissions office about my status, they congratulated me, and said that they will see what they can do for me. Still waiting, it is all or nothing!!! ( No UCB = no Fulbright). The wait is breaking me apart, I am preparing myself for a big dissapointment

I dont understand why they just send the rejections now ... At least then I can move on, instead foolishly hoping for a tiny chance of still getting admitted! I would like to know what the deficiences are, so that I can start making future plans.

i spoke with one of the people from the department, they said all decisions will be made by march 1st.

Hmm i just realized that I never got submission email. However the website does state that my application has been submitted. What does this mean? Anyone else who also did not receive a confirmation email?
