Well, i hope that the long wait leads to good news, since even by now, I have not received a response. Does Berkeley adhere to the april 15th deadline? I must know something by next week I hope.

I am still waiting for an answer! Are there any others who got no answer yet?

I am in a very nervuous situation. Two weeks ago, I have been awarded the Fulbright scholarship in my country, yet I have not been admitted to UCB, and UCB is the only university I applied for, I was too late for others!! I told the admissions office about my status, they congratulated me, and said that they will see what they can do for me. Still waiting, it is all or nothing!!! ( No UCB = no Fulbright). The wait is breaking me apart, I am preparing myself for a big dissapointment

I dont understand why they just send the rejections now ... At least then I can move on, instead foolishly hoping for a tiny chance of still getting admitted! I would like to know what the deficiences are, so that I can start making future plans.

i spoke with one of the people from the department, they said all decisions will be made by march 1st.

me too. What are your research interests and what is your profile. I myself am interested in cooperative control, game theory, decentralized optimization, hybrid systems, and reachability computations.

Hmm i just realized that I never got submission email. However the website does state that my application has been submitted. What does this mean? Anyone else who also did not receive a confirmation email?

This is really ridiculous, how can they make a sound judgement of my application and past work!

I spoke with the secretary of one of my POI, she told me that the faculty do not get involved in the application. This I find hard to believe.

On the results page I saw only 4 or 5 interviews for EECS Berkeley.

Hey all, I applied for EECS Berkeley. My profile: - Dutch nationality - MSc Aerospace Engineering (with distinction) - Delft University of Technology - 9 month research project at NASA Ames ACES group - publications: only MSc thesis, but no formal papers as of yet (is in the process) - reco's: one from NASA Ames advisor, MSc thesis supervisor (knows me three years), and course professor who is a well known guy in control - work experience: NLR (dutch aerospace laboratories), MCT (a contractor of NASA Ames) - GRE: Q/V/A = 165/157/3.5 As of yet, no invitations for interviews. I saw somewhere else on the forum that everyone shortlisted gets an interview. Only applied for UC Berkeley (too late for others). Am I screwed already? cheers
