All of those are great schools, and I'm sure each program would be excellent. As for job prospects, try to volunteer or intern in places that you'd like to work the degrees will qualify you for plenty of jobs in the health-related industries, but it's the networks, experience and references you acquire throughout the process that are most valuable in the job hunt. I was accepted for a few MPH programs this fall, and chose UVic. I'd recommend getting as much volunteer or work experience as possible, particularly related to the program stream you wish to apply for, work on creating an extremely strong letter of intent, and finding excellent quality references- from what I've heard the more references the better but make sure that some are attesting to your academic ability and some are discussing your work experience or volunteer work. Most of Canada is pretty cold and snowy in the winter except for maybe Victoria and the greater Vancouver area. Good luck!

Hey, Sorry about the delay in posting. I went out of town the day after I received my acceptance to the Uvic MPH. I was notified by email around 1pm on March 25, 2013 and I accepted the offer the same day. I know one other person who also received acceptance to the part-time program on the same day. On the mystatus account it still says forwarded to department- We were only given until April 2nd to accept the offer so I'm assuming that more offers will be rolling out in the next few weeks as people turn down offers. Also, it was noted in the letter that they are discontinuing their Health Informatics program, so if that was a first choice you might be accepted for your second choice stream. Other than that I haven't received any information, I was told that more info would be sent out later on (I'm assuming once they have final numbers).

Received my offer letter from UVic today! They're my top pick so it looks like I'll be headed there in the Fall. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

A friend of mine received an email saying U of A wouldn't be sending out their official offers until mid-to-late April.

I've applied to UVic MPH for Health Informatics and to UofS for MPH Behavioural and Social. Currently sitting at a 3.7 GPA with a B.A. and three years of relevant volunteer and work experience. Best of luck to all my fellow applicants!
