For everyone waiting on York, I was accepted into the Advanced Standing MSW today, so decisions have started coming out. I logged into MyFile (like I do every day, sometimes up to 10 times lol), and under Decision it says Admitted. I've accepted the offer since this is the only school I applied to. I just wanted to let those know who applied to York to check MyFile! Best of luck!

Hi Scotto123! I've also applied to the Advanced Standing MSW at York, and am dreading the wait - you're right, I've heard they do take their sweet time. Let me know if you hear anything! Hope you also hear back from Ryerson soon too. And congrats on being waitlisted!

Ohh, I totally get it. I also only applied to one school, York. I did the post-degree BSW there, and really only felt comfortable applying to a school where I was familiar with their social work philosophy and goals. Fingers crossed! I can totally understand wanting to save $ too. Congrats again! Go out and celebrate!

As much as the wait is killing me, I was warned that York is normally the last university to let people know their decision. Sigh. I completed my BSW there and admin is just terrible. Yes! I was going to ask that today. I've heard nothing at all, and have seen nothing about York on the forum. I didn't apply to U of T, but I can relate to feeling anxious about waiting. Hopefully we find out soon!

I've only applied to York's MSW program (advanced standing), but from what I've heard, they are usually the last university to provide applicants with a decision (sigh). Congrats to all those who have heard back with an acceptance already! I look forward to following this thread. Hang in there, everyone! My fingers are crossed for all of us!
