  1. Hi! I'm kind of in a similar position! However not regarding the Russian background. I got in both in AU's International Communication and GWU's Global Communication. What I have heard from several people (Alumni and current students) GWU's location is a big plus! That's why I have crossed off AU from my list and I am now leaning towards GWU. (over MSFS, which I cant really afford without fellowship) Maybe try calling some current students (I got an email from GWU with contacts) Good Luck with your decision!
  2. Thanks for your replies! I called Elliott's Admission's Office today. A combined micro- and macro-course (which I'll take in Austria) and the three-week course at Elliott will be enough! I found the University of Phoenix - but I didn't check the dates nor costs yet... I'm still leaning towards GWU, so maybe we'll see eachother in August ;-)
  3. Hi all, I am an international student and was admitted to both GW's Global Communication MA and the MSFS. Both require me to take introduction to Micro- and Macro-Economics courses (3 credit). Unfortunately, there are no applicable courses in Vienna - Do any of you know how to fulfill the requirements through an online course? I got the news from Elliott yesterday - my admission letter didn't say anything about economics, so I'm kind of desperately looking for options right now ;-) Thanks for your help!
  4. Congrats to everybody who got in!!! I got the same email and I do have a letter posted in applyyourself. It doesn't seem to say anything about funding. Does that mean I did'nt get any or should I wait for an other letter? I fear without funding, MSFS will simply be a little too expensive :-(
  5. No funding either :-( Still I think I'll choose GWU over AU SIS...
  6. nope - unfortunately not admitted... congrats to all of you I got my email at midnight European time...
  7. I'm in for global communication :-) Congrats to all of you!
  8. In at AU SIS (International Communication) - can't find information about funding... but still :-)
  9. I did... still waiting :-( what I assume from last years results - we should hear something by next week...? at least I hope so ;-)
