  1. So here is my theory for the "method behind the madness"...with 50 potential people interviewing (including all of us of course), there is no way they would send out all of the invites in one email blast. Why? If they have to set up flights/hotels/meals/interview schedules for each person, that is going to take a lot of time per person. Could you imagine 50 people all calling immediately after getting their email invitation (even 2-3 days after) to set all of that up? That would be a nightmare for the admissions office...unless they have 50 employees in the admissions office dedicated to each person (which I doubt). So, my theory is that they have blocked out two weeks (10 business days) to contact 5 of the 50 potentials each day. That would logically give them time to make arrangements for each person. I also speculate that geography is playing some part in how they are contacting people. Maybe contacting those people whom are closest geographically to Cambridge last so they can make easier plans by Friday, the 22nd to get them there on the 28th. It may just be dillusions of granduer, but isn't that really what they are looking for in candidates anyway? Revolutioning education is going to take some thoughts of granduer for sure. Just my thoughts!
