  1. I got my letter of offer from UVIC today. Got rejected from UBC a couple days ago though. I'm ecstatic! Good luck to everyone! Still waiting on a couple schools.
  2. Congratulations! Happy to hear that someone has good news!
  3. Thanks mjmm! It's going to be a long wait. Best of luck to you!
  4. Best of luck to you. I'm sure you'll get in this time around! Your marks are great and now you have more experience. It's my first time applying and I don't have any publications. It's really just a trial run.
  5. Now you're scaring me…91%? I won't get in for sure.
  6. Hi InProcess, I have the same problem as you. I think most of the Universities have the stat/math requirement. I just applied anyway (I was a percent away). It might help if you contact the program coordinator and tell them your situation. It worked for me. Best of luck!
  7. How's everyones applications going? Good luck!!
  8. Your experience sounds really impressive and your references are solid. I'm hoping to get in as well. Good luck to you!
  9. Hi, is there anyone here that got accepted into UBC MPH, SFU MPH, UofT health promotion program? I would really like to know what their specs were because I'm going to apply for 2014. Thank you so much!!!
  10. Hi, I'm going to apply for 2014 as well. I don't have a medical degree so I'm sure my situation is not as optimistic. I will apply for UBC, SFU, UVIC, UofT, Waterloo, maybe Queens. I hope we all get in!
  11. Hi, I am interested in the MPH programs at UBC and SFU and was hoping to get more info from you guys. Here is my background info: I am a 4th year student in UBC cell biology and genetics. I plan to take a year off to get more experience in health promotion/health care field before I apply in december for the fall 2014 entry. My GPA isn't that great. It is about 77-78% for upper level courses. I have 3 references: one from an associate dean and two from research docs. One doc works at a hospital and one at bc centre for disease control. I'm currently a research assistant at a genetics lab and did a variety of volunteer work in the past. I will be doing a public health related internship in the summer for the centre for disease control. Do you think I have a chance of getting in either school? Thanks everyone!
