Kem, I had the same issue in undergrad. I have my psychology degree and I didn't take it seriously. I graduated with a 3.1 GPA. When I took my speech classes I focused and got a 4.0. My GRE's were also not so high. Letters of recommendation, work experience, and my essay are what really helped me push through. I got rejected and waitlisted at many places, but I did get the acceptance from the school I wanted. Just make sure you apply to many schools to give yourself options, study for the GRE, and work on getting great letters of recommendation and a great admissions essay. If this is what you want to do then follow your dream because it can and will happen! Best of luck!

Well I got an email asking me to set up my password and it gave me a username so I called and they told me I was accepted and I should receive the decision letter in the next few days... I'm just so relieved to hear that I was accepted I couldn't even believe it. You should definitely give them a call!

I called Adelphi 2 weeks ago and they told me they were on spring break last week so they would restart sending out decisions this week. It's making me crazy though to wait so long. Good luck everyone!

I totally agree, I feel like a crazy person leaving my email open at all moments during work just hoping I'll get a good news email or running to my mailbox at home although I've basically come to accept that we're not going to hear anything until at least March. I hope the time flies
