I have gotten the visa approved. The process is pretty straight forward especially if you are from a visa waiver country. Even if you do not have property in your country like me or significant wealth here, it should not be a problem as long as you at least have family here. My entire immediate family is in my country and I think that is good enough as I just started employment a while back and cant possibly own a property or have much wealth. I personally feel the US embassy officers are very practical people and as long as you are not dodgy/shady and got all your papers intact and funding is all good with paperwork meticulously done, you should be getting your visa. However I am not sure for countries that have many people violating US immigration laws; it could be stricter there. I can only speak for visa waiver countries as I am from one.
