stressed out

My letter stated that I had already met the professional experience requirement, which I was surprised by. I have 7 years of private sector work experience, however it's not related to health, policy or public service. I'm sure it's frustrating to have one more requirement hanging over your head, however I think most people can easily meet the requirement through summer internships and/or working part time during the program that they would do anyway without the requirement. The Wagner program was appealing to me, in part, because they encourage bringing your work experiences into the classroom and want you to work full or part time while in school.

I got the admitted email too! YAY!

For those who have heard back from admissions, when did you apply? Has anyone heard who submitted their application to SOPHAS after the December 1st deadline?

Me too! What the heck??? As if waiting isn't stressful enough.

In past years people have noted in the forums that they started receiving admissions responses beginning at 4pm est. through midnight on the day of the deadline. It would be awesome if they sent them sooner, but I wouldn't expect anything before tomorrow afternoon.

Seriously! Why do they keep sending those?? I feel sick every time I see their name in my inbox, which has been far too frequent this close to admissions!

Thanks for the info. I suppose it was less stressful to have my apps done before the holidays even if I don't get an early decision.

Did anyone hear anything by the Feb 22nd deadline? I didn't apply for fellowships, however I did submit my application before December 3rd. I thought I was going to hear by Feb 22nd, but I guess I'll just have to wait with everyone else for March 8th.

I applied before December 3rd, so I thought maybe I'd hear back by February 22nd (per their time table online). I did not apply for a fellowship however, so maybe the Feb 22nd notice is only for those who did. Guess all we can do is wait...

Has anyone heard from NYU Wagner? Their website says we would find out by Feb 22nd, but I haven't heard anything.

Anyone heard yet? We were supposed to hear by today if you applied before the December 3rd deadline, which I did. Haven't heard anything.
