Hey all, I've been quietly stalking the thread for a little bit, and finally decided my anxiety needs an outlet. I applied to 9 schools, and haven't heard from a single one. At this point, a rejection letter would even be fine just to get things over with. Pretty sure BC, Notre Dame and Penn State already sent out their acceptances, too. None of my friends are involved in/interested in the world of academia, so I feel like I am floating alone on a very teeny island. I'm sure there are plenty of others who haven't heard from schools, either, but I'm beginning to think it's just not going to happen! Well hello there, I just clicked the link above in asleepawake's profile, and saw the list of the zillions of schools who haven't begun to notify (or at least it isn't widely known that they are notifying). That helped. A little.
