You can contact the Research Officer for results.
Thanks. I worked up the courage to call and it went to voicemail. arg! ... my hands are still shaking

Nothing in the GTA mail today.
Anyone heard anything from York?

FYI Last year my university had the results well before they mail was delivered (can't remember exactly when, sometime early April) so I guess you *could* ask the dept that oversees sshrc apps at your school, if they're willing to disclose the results when they receive them

Thanks! I appreciate the clarification!
Best of luck everyone!

Hey! Which portal are folks referring to? .... At my school we submitted our application as a hard copy. I got the email notice in January that my school had forwarded my application to sshrc, but I can't figure out where to check online to see if my status has been updated. Help? (I applied for the doctoral cgs/fellowships, if that matters)

I don't want to harass that friendly woman by emailing her/going to talk to her again... but maybe if you call her and mention that other schools have emailed the results it'll prompt her to proceed in that direction before 4pm!
The Research Officer at York responded to my email telling me her to call her for the results. I was unsuccessful but I wish you better luck!

Sent the email! I'll let you know if I hear anything!

My university just e-mailed our results. CGS-D for 3 years. I am still in shock. Feel a little like I might be sick ;). I was waitlisted last year and was hopeful, but not really. OMG is this really happening? Time for my happy dance and I hope the rest of you waiting hear your news very, very soon!
Congrats! Do you mind me asking which university?
Happy happy-dancing! -
wowza. go trent. ... if anyone can get york to email the results, you may be my new best friend. or worse enemy, depending on the results

I have to go away for a presentation on Wednesday of next week. So you know how this is going to work out right? Everyone will be getting their letters on Wednesday and I will be a nervous wreck because I won't be able to check my mail until the 30th
dang!... once they have been officially released, maybe your school will give you your results?

Naively hoped to receive the letter today... Thankfully (?), the postal worker did his run three hours prior to his regular schedule, so I'm now somewhat at peace for the weekend
lucky duck! our mail woman doesn't come around until 3p. though, I live on the outskirts of toronto so if you didn't get it, I probably won't either

Hey there folks. Like many of you, I'm beginning to get anxious about sshrc as well. York told us that the we'll be notified directly if we're successful (or not!). On SSHRC's website it says they send the results by mail but I'm wondering if it's updated online somewhere first? snail mail is sooo lame. thanks!

I had that experience last year. Got really close to Vanier (I think 10 away from however many they award) and was rejected for SSHRC. I guess it's a reminder of how arbitrary the whole process is.
