Yeah I've also not yet heard from them, and I was at a recruitment event last week at another school and met someone who was also still waiting. I've been assuming a rejection for the last month, though.

Anyone want to claim the NYU acceptance that was just posted? I'm surprised to see a new admit this late in the game, I'm wondering if you were interviewed.

The point of MAPSS is that you structure your own, entirely individualized curriculum within any branch of the social sciences. You absolutely have a concentration in a specific discipline, and on your CV you represent it however you want to - your transcript speaks for itself. Students are grouped by their chosen disciplines and are assigned to advisors who are in the final stages of their dissertations or are post-docs in their discipline. The program website actually has some very detailed information about the structure of the program, alumni PhD and job placement rates, etc. You should do some poking around.

At the bottom there should be a message that says: Decision Status: Available beginning 2/27/2013 Underneath that a link that says: Your application decision is now available online. That link takes you to your decision.

Yeah, I've definitely given up on NYU at this point. I just don't see an acceptance coming out of the blue after no contact to date of any kind.

I was the Tulane admit. I don't really have any info for you other than what I posted in the results, though. Admitted students days are March 18-20. I got an email from the DGS but haven't heard from any of my POIs. I did not contact the program during the admissions process. I also just noticed that the stipend is $22,500 not $21,500. Hope that helps!

Does anyone know when UNC is holding their campus visit?

I didn't post the UConn acceptance, but I was also accepted. I received an email from my POI saying that I'd been admitted with "full funding" and that I would receive an offer letter around March 1 which details specifics regarding what "full funding" means. I haven't received any other notification from the school.
