Finally ended up hearing back from one of the programs I applied to. York University sent me a letter letting me know I'm wait listed. Both my boyfriend (Mathematics PhD) and I are waiting to hear about our applications from University of Toronto. It is so stressful! Every time we talk about it, all we can do is lament the wait.

Got a letter from York University (Toronto) saying I'm wait listed for Sociology Masters. Very nice letter, made me feel a tiny bit better about graduate applications. Still waiting for any news from University of Toronto (Soc MA).
