Anybody who is interested in HUH/GSAS/GCP Housing, have you heard anything about the various buildings? I heard Cronkhite was a popular option (at least for the higher ed program) but during the housing info session they said it will likely be closed next year due to construction.

Anybody want to meet up to walk around or tour Cambridge tomorrow? The higher ed crew had our open house today, so seems like tomorrow's afternoon sessions aren't very applicable..

A little off topic... has anybody heard from HGSE about Financial Aid packages? (other than merit fellowships)

has anybody found statistics on average scholarship/assistance? Started reviewing that admitted student packet today and $65k in writing made it seem a lot heavier than before...

I received my financial aid letter in spam on Friday. Mine lists the scholarship TC awarded me in my acceptance letter, but doesn't say anything about federal loans. Did others receive info about loans?

I made a reservation yesterday at the Courtyard by Marriot, which looks like it is about 7 minutes from the campus and en route to the airport. They gave me a rate of $165 after mentioning I was affiliated with the school, but they did ask I bring a printout of my acceptance letter or itinerary. Also: I'm sorry if I've missed this, but could any current students (or Boston natives) advise on housing timing... if we are looking to move in August, when should we be looking to sign a lease? Or when is everyone planning on looking for housing? One more question: has anyone (new admits or prospectives) been able to obtain financial aid to finance their trip to Open House?

Has anybody heard about TC decision dates? I saw an earlier post that said one year HGSE and TC released decisions within days of each other, but not sure if this is true historically?

Does anyone know what percent of applicants attending the recruitment days are eventually offered admission?
