I believe the accepted students day is april 12th for higher education. At least, that is what the website for accepted students says.

I'm in for Higher Ed. I was definitely not expecting Columbia to come out so soon!

At this point I think we all just need to be put in an induced sleep until the decisions are out. Refreshing my feed every 10 seconds is not helping me. Checking this blog over and over again has definitely not been good for my mental stability. Good luck to all! Here's to all of us going to great schools regardless of HGSE's decision!

hi emvtgse, The only other "visitation" like days I am going to are the NYU interview days. I wanted to go to UMass Amherst days but they are right in-between NYU and Northwestern giving me no time to get to all three. I am still waiting to hear back from a few schools though (most likely will hear back next week) because of a late LOR.

I am probably going to the preview days in march. I am just looking into the logistics of getting to Chicago from NYC. My only concern with the program is that Northwestern's Graduate School of Education is ranked 9th in the nation, but this program is not ranked in the top 17. Now I am not one to put much stock into rankings, but I this just didn't settle right for me. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be?

I have a friend who received a wait list email last year. He was later offered an interview, but turned it down because he had already committed to an amazing school. I don't know any specific numbers though- just his experience.

Does the type of degree factor in? I have been invited to 3 accepted students days thus far and only one program has offered me a travel reimbursement ($300). However, I am going for my masters in education.

Hi All! Are any of you out there going to be attending Northwestern this fall or going to visitation days to scope it out? I am still on the fence about it. I don't see much written about the program elsewhere, though I love the foundation in research. Thanks!
