Hi guys,
I was accepted to Texas State University - San Marcos yesterday, and I will likely be declining, they are giving us until the 19th and then they will start notifying people on the wait list!!
Haha ok good that makes me feel better! I'd much rather attend the 2.5 year one because I love the program and all the professors! Thanks for all yalls input!!
Well, one of them consists of 4 semesters and 1 summer session and the other one is six semesters long. I'd really rather go to the one that is only 4 semesters and a summer, I just wasn't sure if the hours would make a difference in getting a job later.
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone knew why the required hours to graduate differs between some of the programs? I'm trying to decide between two Texas programs, there's one that only requires 51 hours total compared to one that requires 61 hours. Does the difference in hours matter at all if the programs are both certified and everything? Thanks so much!!
Also, do yall think it matters if you attend grad school farther away from where you want to eventually live (but still in the same state).

Hi guys,
I'm applying for speech-path programs and I was wondering if anyone had heard back from schools such as, Baylor, TCU, ACU, Texas State, Texas Women's University, UNT or Stephen F. Austin?
Also, has anyone heard good or bad things about any of these programs in particular? Thanks!!
Ohh ok yes I'll definitely post it over there haha I just joined gradcafe! Oh wow good to know about TCU, thanks! Yes, I think the Baylor program sounds great , but yeah the cost is definitely a downside
