I'll be graduating this spring, and threw my hat in the ring for admission next fall.
My portfolio was a little light, but my professors encouraged me to take a shot.
Even if nothing pans out for me this year I learned a TON during the process and will be better prepared for round two.

I just got a call from Madison and was accepted. Will wait on financial aid package...but will likely be going.
Congrats on RCA and GSA. I looked very seriously at GSA (for painting) because it's a great school with a ton of great alumni (in all disciplines) coming out of it. I ended up not applying there because the US gov decided GSA no longer met the requirements that would allow me to get loans to attend. It looks like you're in Canada and might have a different situation, but thought you might want to be aware.

For what it's worth...RISD Admissions dept posted on their facebook page that some letters about RISD MFA Painting decisions were sent out Friday (march 22) and the rest will be sent out this week. No other details were posted.
