I think the moderator for the Brazil one actually works for Fulbright... still waiting for approval into that one. How about you make the Facebook group and we go from there?! I'm no help on the questions, but I can be a quick add (there is a general ETA group, so it could be advertised in there to get lots of new members)

So sorry, but don't give up hope just yet! I'm sure there are many that already committed to jobs or decided they aren't willing to go due to language, riots (anybody watching the confederations cup riots?!), etc. With 90 slots, odds are certainly in favor of some alternates getting moved up!

I don't know if it's rolling or not; that was just a guess. maybe they sent out stuff to a large group and are waiting to hear of any rejections before proceeding forward? No idea...

ej, did you get the confirmation email that your statement of interest was received? I got that in late May or so I think...

You got nothing yet?! Check your spam, junk boxes, alternate emails, and the works?! That's crazy! Maybe they are doing it on a rolling process.... Hopefully you will hear something asap!

Welcome to the waiting game! Where did you apply for in the first round, Brazil or another country?

Alright, it's officially Monday again... we're more than halfway through the month... is today the day?!

No kidding! At least we know it will be two weeks or less. I'm wondering if there will be any visa issues if I'm in Chile and accepted?! It sounds like there is an extensive list of things we must do like medical screenings and such before departing... I hope they send stuff sooner rather than later so I can take care of all of that before leaving for Chile (if I'm fortunate enough to get an offer)!
