Not at all. I actually contacted them today asking my status since I haven't heard a peep from them. They told me a decision has been made and a letter was in the mail but they would rather not talk about my status over the phone. My heart literally skipped a beat because i thought it was a rejection letter since I didn't get an email confirming my acceptance. My impression is that all acceptances/rejections will most likely come out this week and if you're super anxious (like I was) contact one of the graduate assistants and they will give you some information about your application. yeah I just got that email. I'd hate to be a party-pooper but I feel like they just sent that email out to everyone who applied to grad studies@UT and isn't based on anything..
